About Me
Hello! My name is Tonia W. Scott. I am passionate about seeing those in the Kingdom of God living a life that is on PURPOSE. I work closely with those in ministry to assist them with bringing their God given vision to pass. I am a natural connector and enjoy being used at this capacity to help others fulfill their assignment.
Out of total obedience and pursuit of what God was doing in my life, I relocated to North Carolina (From Richmond, Virginia) November 2002. This journey has been filled with a lot of self- discovery, wrestling with God, disobedience, sacrifice, doubt, joy, peace, and fellowship. I say all of those things because without it I would not be the person that I am today.
I am married to a Awesome Man of God, M. Ceno Scott. We met in November 2006 and were married on April 5, 2008.
I look forward to meeting and connecting with you as we learn and grow together in Christ. I want to provide you with resources, insight, and connections that will help you to grow in Christ and the work that he has purposed you to do.

Matthew 7:13-14 (KJV) (13) Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: (14) Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
The other morning while in prayer this scripture dropped in my spirit. It was an eye opener for me. I read it over and over and meditated on it. It was revealed to me that there will be alot of people (even Holy Ghost filled, Fire Baptized, Tongue Speaking Believers) that will be in the number on the road that leads to destruction......Whoa!!! That sunk in so DEEP. The scripture clearly states that the way to life is "Narrow" and a FEW will find it. Think about it.... a FEW? I am very intrigued by words so I looked up the definition of Few and it read: "A small number or small elite group". The key here is that this is not only to those that are in the "world" as we will say, but to the believers who have spend countless hours and time in Church and those that are doing the work of the Lord. Matthew 7:22-23 states this very clearly. It is not enough to be saved. Your works will not get you in. We must examine ourselves daily and make sure that our heart is clean and that we have the heart of Christ.
My prayer for you on today is that you will know Jesus in a way like you have never known him before and that you will begin to thirst for all Truth and allow the Holy Spirit to lead you and guide you.

It has been awhile since I last made an entry. I had to take some time to get refocused and to hear from the Holy Spirit as to what I should be concentrating on in this season. I have been reading and studying a few topics lately that I will begin to start blogging about in the weeks to come. In particular I have been reading about the New Testament Church, Health and Wellness and Soul/Spirit. All of these teachings and revelations from the Holy Spirit have been eye opening and life changing. My desire is to educate those in the Body of Christ (as well as myself) of the things that are based in Truth and the uncompromised Word of God.

Understanding Purpose 10-14-09
As I was driving the other day the Lord began to speak to me about a certain situation that I was dealing with and bringing to my rememberance the Purpose. I was remembering when I moved to North Carolina in 2002. When I moved it was with a friend. She and I (both single at the time) knew that we were sisters in Christ and there was something that he wanted to do with the both of us in ministry. We decided (with confirmation from the Holy Spirit) that we were going to leave Richmond, Virginia. We pulled out a map and began to plot some places that we desired to move. In a matter of days the Lord began to confirm the relocation to Durham, North Carolina.
We moved November 2002. It was awesome when we first moved here. Things seemed to be going well. We had employment, housing, and were good to go. 4 months after the move she decided she was going to return to Richmond to be with her family. What?! I did not understand. It was a very eye opening time in my life. Here I am in another state with NO family, NO social network; what was I to do. I became bitter with the situation and could not believe that God would leave me in this place. I did not know what to do. I stayed!
Here I am almost 7 years to the date and I am so happy that I did not faint. I was upset with her for years. The Holy Spirit revealed to me that even though I did not understand it at the time, she was only fulfilling the purpose of why we connected. It was never about what we were to do (though it was for the Lord), but it was for me to get to this place for such a time as this. Truthfully if it had NOT been for her I would not have moved to North Carolina, met the people that I have met, been the places that I have been; and never would have pushed to this point.
I recently contacted my friend and apologized for being angry with her. I realized that she would not have intentionally tried to hurt me or leave me to fail. I realized that she was only being the vessel that the Lord used to get me to this place. To God Be the Glory for the restoration and for setting me free from my feelings. I now understand the purpose and for that I am free!
It is my prayer that you see the purpose in every situation in your life (good or bad). People, challenges, and situations are sent to make us stronger and to grow from the experience.
